Prior to joining the firm, as a student attorney with the Tulane University Law School’s Juvenile Litigation Clinic, Ms. Balmori argued before the Louisiana Supreme Court on behalf of a juvenile’s constitutional right to a trial by jury. See In re State ex rel. A.J. 27 So.3d 247 (La. 2009).
Ms. Balmori's practice focuses on business, commercial and real property litigation, probate, commercial real estate and transactional matters, including:
- Commercial and Business Litigation, such as real estate-related disputes, landlord-tenant disputes, contract disputes, shareholder and partnership disputes, collection actions, and other business matters;
- U.S. and International Contract-Related Matters, such as service agreements, consulting and technical assistance agreements, purchase and sale agreements, agency agreements, employment agreements, commercial representation agreements, and dealer and distribution agreements;
- U.S. and International Corporate-Related Matters, such as entity formation, corporate resolutions and operating agreements, the purchase and sale of businesses, formation and structuring of businesses, acquisitions, restructuring and dissolution of businesses, as well as contractual and other transactional matters;
- Probate Administration, such as representing and advising Personal Representatives and/or parties with Florida Probate and Estate Administration.
